MyHome Account Deletion & Data Retention Policies

How do I delete my account?

  1. Log into the MyHome app using the username and password you chose when signing up.
  2. Navigate to the "Settings" section by clicking the the cog symbol at the bottom right of the home screen.
  3. Select "Account".
  4. Select "Delete Account".
  5. Select to confirm deletion.
  6. Your account has now been marked for deletion and will be permanently deleted, along with any personal data, in 30 days*. 

*MyHome accounts that have been marked for deletion can be recovered within this 30 day period. To do so, please contact the MyHome support team at myhome.info@city-holdings.co.uk

I can't access my account. How can I verify my account and data are deleted?

If you are unable to access your account, or have any issues or queries regarding the deletion of your account and/or data, please contact the MyHome support team at  myhome.info@city-holdings.co.uk

Our data policies

At MyHome, we prioritize safeguarding your privacy by limiting the amount of data we store about our users to only what is necessary. Furthermore, we do not share your data with any third parties.

The personal information we collect is as follows:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Select "Account".
  • Account ID
  • Phone number
  • Address

We also store historical and current energy usage values from your residence. This enables us to provide assistance aimed at optimizing your energy consumption and subsequently reducing your energy expenses.

If you choose to delete your account we remove all personal data, and, in doing so, disassociate your details from any historical energy readings stored.  

Your privacy remains our utmost priority throughout every step of our service.
